Fast Food Chef Manager – Iraq

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead the kitchen operations of a fast‑food restaurant in Iraq, specializing in pizza, fried chicken and burgers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety and hygiene, and driving cost‑effective operational efficiency across the outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, manage production flow, and ensure timely preparation of menu items.
• Lead, train, mentor and supervise a diverse kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation while adhering to strict hygiene and safety regulations.
• Control food costs by monitoring inventory, reducing waste, and ensuring accurate portioning.
• Develop, document and enforce kitchen standard operating procedures and preparation standards.
• Coordinate effectively with front‑of‑house service teams to guarantee smooth service delivery.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager in a fast‑food or casual dining setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume kitchen operations with a focus on pizza, fried chicken and burger preparation.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating kitchen teams.
• Expertise in cost control, inventory management and maintaining consistent product quality.
• Fluent in Arabic; proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate and work on‑site in Iraq.
