Director of Information Technology

About the role

The Director of Information Technology will serve as the senior institutional information leader for AUIB, guiding digital transformation, enterprise systems, academic technology, data governance, artificial intelligence and technology‑enabled improvement across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi‑year technology strategy covering enterprise and academic applications, data analytics, AI, integrations and outsourced infrastructure.
• Define enterprise architecture principles, standards and lifecycle decisions to avoid fragmented or duplicated solutions.
• Lead a cross‑functional governance process to prioritize initiatives based on value, risk, cost and strategic fit.
• Advise senior leadership and academic units on emerging technologies, digital opportunities and risk management.
• Oversee functional and technical governance of Oracle Fusion Cloud, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Canvas and related platforms, ensuring performance, integration and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with external providers responsible for network, data‑center and cybersecurity services, ensuring service levels and security compliance.
