Credit Card Inquiry Senior Associate

About the role

The National Bank of Iraq is seeking a diligent Credit Card Inquiry Senior Associate to support its Credit Monitoring Department. You will be responsible for conducting accurate credit inquiries and ensuring data integrity between internal banking systems and the Central Bank Credit Information Exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Perform credit inquiries using the Central Bank Credit Information Exchange (ICI) system in line with approved procedures.
• Reconcile data uploaded to the ICI system with the bank’s internal records to verify accuracy.
• Identify and correct data discrepancies by coordinating with Data Management and Operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations and internal policies throughout the inquiry process.
• Collaborate closely with relevant departments to maintain consistent and up‑to‑date information.
• Stay informed about system updates and regulatory changes to continuously improve performance.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the department manager to meet departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar credit inquiry or banking role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Central Bank Credit Information Exchange (ICI) system.
• Strong data reconciliation abilities.
