Core Network Cloud Infrastructure Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Core Network Cloud Infrastructure Expert to support the deployment, planning, operation, and evolution of cloud‑based telecom core networks. The role focuses on Huawei core technologies (UDM, IMS, Packet Core) across 3G, 4G and 5G environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for cloud‑native telecom core infrastructure.
• Operate and maintain virtualized core network platforms for circuit‑switched (CS) and packet‑switched (PS) services.
• Oversee high‑availability and performance of core network systems.
• Deploy, integrate, and manage the lifecycle of Huawei UDM, IMS, and Packet Core solutions.
• Handle software upgrades, patches, and vendor releases while minimizing impact.
• Ensure reliable delivery of voice and data services, including VoLTE and 5G.
• Troubleshoot major incidents, lead root‑cause analysis and service restoration.
• Support network evolution initiatives such as virtualization, 4G/5G Core (SA/NSA).
• Define and maintain operational processes, standards, and best practices.
• Transfer knowledge and build capabilities within local teams.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in telecom core networks covering both CS and PS domains.
• Strong background in cloud‑based or virtualized core network environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Huawei core solutions (UDM, IMS, Packet Core).
• Solid understanding of 4G/5G architectures, SA/NSA, and telecom standards.
• Experience in operations, maintenance, and service assurance of live mobile networks.
• Fluent in English; Arabic and Kurdish are a plus.
