About the role
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Kitchen Assistant (Commis I) to join our culinary team. You will support the Chef de Partie and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences through high‑quality food preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare mise en place and produce food across various kitchen sections according to menu specifications.
- Maintain a hygienic work environment in line with hotel standards.
- Control food stock and monitor food cost within your section.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete daily tasks and ensure consistent quality.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to manage cleanliness, waste, and cost control.
Required profile
- Completed a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
- Previous experience in reputable establishments with solid culinary skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Proven knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
