Channel Sales Manager

About the role

Baghdad Soft Drinks Co., a PepsiCo International franchisee and the largest listed industrial company on the Iraq Stock Exchange, produces and distributes PepsiCo soft drink brands across the middle and southern regions of Iraq. As a leading beverage manufacturer and distributor, the company offers a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment. The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing distribution channels to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement channel sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market coverage.
• Manage and develop distribution channels, identifying new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and business partners.
• Lead and support the sales team to achieve channel objectives.
• Coordinate pricing strategies, trade promotions, and commercial offers.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse results, and implement improvement plans.
• Track market trends and competitor activities to support commercial decisions.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the food sector, including sales channel management.
• Proven experience in developing distribution channels and achieving sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of customer and distributor management, pricing strategies, and trade promotions.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess channel performance and develop actionable improvement plans.
