Category Specialist – E‑commerce Product Management

About the role
The Category Specialist will manage product and service listings across our e‑commerce platform, ensuring accurate categorisation and compelling content. You will work closely with Account Managers and the Technology team to maintain data quality and support sales growth.
Key responsibilities
- Upload service lists, product descriptions and pricing received from the Account Management team.
- Organise products into appropriate categories such as Haircare, Makeup and Skincare.
- Audit and verify data for accuracy, correcting typos, pricing errors and misplaced listings.
- Edit and optimise product/service descriptions to be engaging and professional.
- Maintain up‑to‑date prices, stock and service availability in the system.
- Identify and report technical bugs or glitches to the Technology team.
- Coordinate with Account Managers to resolve missing or inconsistent data.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
Required skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) or application back‑ends.
