Business & Market Intelligence Analyst

About the role

The Business & Market Intelligence Analyst will support the Ratawi Hub’s multi‑energy Growth Gas Integrated Project (GGIP) in Basra, Iraq. Working in a complex political and commercial environment, the analyst will provide high‑quality intelligence to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and inform negotiations with authorities and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to defining and executing the market intelligence roadmap for GGIP.
• Produce monthly market reports, dashboards, and strategic briefs for senior leadership.
• Conduct global and regional studies linking Iraqi market dynamics to TotalEnergies’ worldwide strategy.
• Monitor Iraqi government policies, energy strategy, OPEC decisions, and global market trends, assessing their impact on the project.
• Support carbon‑market initiatives by collaborating with internal teams to design credit programs for the project.
• Develop and maintain market intelligence databases and Power BI dashboards, ensuring data integrity and governance.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Oil and local partners.
