Biomedical Engineer – Dental Equipment Specialist

About the role

AUIB is looking for a proactive Biomedical Engineer to ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of all dental equipment in a high‑quality clinical environment. You will be the primary point of contact for equipment maintenance, repairs, and technology integration, supporting both hardware and software needs of the dental practice.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, calibrate, and repair dental chairs, autoclaves, compressors, suction units, and curing lights.
• Service panoramic, periapical, and bitewing X‑ray systems, ensuring radiation safety and optimal image quality.
• Provide support for dental practice management software, troubleshoot computer hardware, networking, and operating system issues.
• Monitor spare‑parts inventory, order consumables, and coordinate vendor repairs.
• Respond to equipment failures during clinical hours and train staff on proper use and basic troubleshooting.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with dental equipment in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Strong diagnostic ability using schematics and testing tools.
• Attention to safety standards for radiation, electrical, and sterilization equipment.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and minimize downtime during patient treatment.
