Assistant Recreation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Recreation Manager to join our leisure club at Rotana in Slemani. You will support the Recreation Manager in delivering high‑quality fitness and leisure services while ensuring smooth administrative operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Bodyline facilities, memberships, coaching, massage and aerobic fees.
• Apply club rules, regulations and standards to daily operations.
• Handle membership processing, employee duty rosters, Micros POS and club policies.
• Ensure the club is set up correctly according to brand standards at all times.
• Supervise and train staff, guaranteeing they are equipped to perform their duties.
• Utilise the secretary’s skills for administrative tasks, posters and displays.
• Keep accurate records of recreation assets such as towels, furniture, rackets and balls.
• Organise and supervise regular fitness activities and events to enhance member enjoyment.
• Develop safe, effective fitness procedures and programs, monitoring correct exercise practice.
• Coordinate aerobics and studio usage, introducing new ideas to maximise revenue.

Required profile

• Degree in sports, leisure or a related field.
• Previous experience in a recreation department, preferably within a five‑star international hotel.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong sales orientation with the ability to drive revenue.
• Effective problem‑solving and computer proficiency.
• Positive, proactive, charismatic and approachable personality.
• Leadership qualities with a focus on customer care and team motivation.
