Asset Protection Supervisor

About the role

The Asset Protection Supervisor leads day‑to‑day security operations for PPCL at Chamchamal, ensuring protection of personnel, critical assets and business continuity against emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership, command and supervision of guard‑force, access control, CCTV, and perimeter security.
• Conduct risk, vulnerability and assurance assessments; track corrective actions and ensure compliance with PPCL policies and Iraqi regulations.
• Act as the focal point for incident, crisis and emergency response, coordinating with Operations, HSE, government forces and emergency responders.
• Lead, coach and develop security personnel, manage rosters, training needs and performance reviews.
• Oversee design, procurement, testing and maintenance of technical security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, Counter‑UAS and security analytics.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement with Operations, Projects, IT, HR and external security agencies, providing regular reporting and recommendations.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years progressive security experience in high‑risk or hostile environments.
• Previous military, police, government security or senior commercial security leadership experience.
• Proven supervisory/management experience of guard‑force operations and third‑party security providers.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Security Management, Risk Management or Business Continuity (preferred).
