Arabic Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This is an hourly, remote contractor position where you will lead Arabic Quality Assurance for AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated Arabic content and trainer outputs meet high standards of accuracy, fluency, cultural relevance, and adherence to detailed rubrics.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Arabic content and trainer/QA work against project guidelines.
• Provide precise written feedback in English to improve contributor performance.
• Assess content for grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction‑following, formatting, and rubric compliance.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Activate and re‑engage contributors who are not working consistently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arabic, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Arabic proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong English proficiency for following guidelines and providing feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Arabic writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, or annotation.
• Deep knowledge of Arabic grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, RTL formatting, tone, register, Modern Standard Arabic and regional variations.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Arabic language quality assessment.
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics.
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Discord and Google Workspace.
