About the role
Arla is seeking a detail‑oriented AR Controller to join its finance team in Baghdad. You will support the company’s financial operations in Iraq, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective credit management.
Key responsibilities
- Perform credit evaluation and monitor credit risk.
- Manage accounts receivable master data and resolve deductions and disputes.
- Reconcile bank and clearing accounts.
- Calculate expected credit loss (ECL) and bad‑debt provisions.
- Prepare management reports and support general accounting as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with SharePoint (a plus).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
