Account Manager (Kurdistan/Sulaymaniyah)

About the role

World Acid is seeking an Account Manager to lead sales activities in the Kurdistan region, based in Sulaymaniyah. The role focuses on building and maintaining customer relationships, executing regional sales plans and converting opportunities into orders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales activities and customer relationships within the assigned region.
• Execute regional sales plans and priorities defined by the Sales Manager.
• Identify, approach and develop relationships with potential customers.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts to generate repeat business.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits as required.
• Prepare and follow up on commercial proposals and quotations.
• Support negotiations and commercial discussions in coordination with the Sales Manager.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure feasibility, delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Track sales activities and customer interactions accurately.
• Provide regular market feedback and customer insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial, chemical, oil & gas or heavy industry environments.
• Fluency in Kurdish (or Arabic) and English, spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region and possession of a personal car with a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM systems to manage sales activities and customer data.
• Use of task and workflow management software.
• Strong command of professional email platforms and business communication tools.
