About the role
The Procurement Specialist will support the Home Furniture & Furnishings business by managing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth import and shipment processes. This position works closely with the sales, warehouse, and finance teams to align procurement activities with the company’s annual plan and budget.
Key responsibilities
- Execute and manage approved purchase orders using the Odoo ERP system.
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Prepare periodic procurement reports and monitor inventory levels for assigned categories.
- Analyze product movement, demand, turnover, and damaged items in coordination with warehouse and sales teams.
- Confirm delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, packaging, or commercial documents.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, contracts, and import operations.
- Proven experience in shipment management, container loading, and customs clearance procedures.
- Excellent command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
