Pharmaceutical Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the execution of sales activities for a pharmaceutical product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. This role involves close collaboration with healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and internal teams to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor sales activities, reviewing reports and recommending execution techniques.
• Develop sales business plans and present performance reports to senior management.
• Maintain advanced product knowledge and apply effective selling techniques to influence healthcare professionals and buyers.
• Consult with new and existing customers to address product needs and resolve issues through cross‑functional coordination.
• Participate in the creation and monitoring of functional procedures to meet legislative requirements.
• Manage sub‑team activities, set monthly plans, and ensure compliance with policies and processes.
• Provide competitive market analysis and develop lifecycle maintenance campaigns for key products.
• Oversee service levels, order response times, and client satisfaction metrics.
• Maintain a sales history database and track yearly net sales.
• Set individual targets, motivate staff, and drive performance to achieve departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• 4–6 years of relevant sales experience in the Kurdistan Region, preferably with a multinational company.
