Open Rank Faculty Position in Anesthesia (Fall/Spring 2026-27)

About the role

AUIB invites applications for an Open Rank Faculty position in Anesthesia for the Fall/Spring 2026‑27 academic year. The successful candidate will join the College of Healthcare Technologies, reporting to the Dean, and will contribute to teaching, research, and program development in anesthesia technology.

Key responsibilities

• Teach basic and advanced anesthesia technology courses, including laboratory and simulation components, for undergraduate students.
• Design and update instructional modules that reflect the latest developments in anesthesia technology.
• Lead multidisciplinary research collaborations, publish findings in reputable journals, and secure external grant funding.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of testing and research facilities and laboratories.
• Develop and deliver continuous‑education programs to advance anesthesia technology in the region.

Required profile

• Terminal doctorate (MD, DO, PhD, DNAP) with a specialty in anesthesia or a closely related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in anesthesiology or anesthesia technology.
• Preference for candidates educated and experienced in U.S.‑style institutions.
• Licensure as an anesthesiologist is preferred.
• Strong research credentials and interest in anesthesia technology.
