Open Rank Faculty – Management (Fall/Spring 2025‑26)

About the role

The American University of Iraq, Baghdad (AUIB) invites applications for an Open Rank Faculty position in Management for the Fall/Spring 2025‑26 academic year. The successful candidate will join a newly established College of Business, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and contributing to curriculum development and accreditation efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Management courses such as Strategic Management, Operations Management, Corporate Strategy, Total Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Small Business Management, and International Business Management.
• Design syllabi, learning outcomes, assessments, and rubrics aligned with course objectives.
• Maintain accurate student records, assign grades, and meet reporting deadlines.
• Hold regular office hours to support student learning.
• Participate in university committees and attend required events (e.g., commencement, faculty meetings).
• Build relationships with campus stakeholders, professional networks, foundations, and industry partners.
• Assist the College in curriculum development and accreditation preparation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in teaching Management at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Experience working with international and multilingual learners.
• Ability to develop curriculum and contribute to accreditation processes.
• Research specialization is open.
