Laboratory Instructor – Anesthesia Technology

About the role

The College of Healthcare Technologies seeks a dedicated Laboratory Instructor to teach both basic and advanced theoretical and laboratory courses in Anesthesia Technology. The role involves delivering hands‑on simulation training, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate anesthesia technology courses, including simulation laboratory sessions.
• Design and update modules to reflect the latest developments in anesthesia technology.
• Lead multidisciplinary research collaborations, publish in reputable journals, and secure extramural funding.
• Develop and maintain testing and research facilities within the college.
• Create and deliver continuous‑education programs for regional professionals.
• Participate in assessment, committee work, and continuous professional development activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a reputable university in Anesthesia Technology or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at a recognized university.
• Preference for candidates with research credentials in anesthesia technology, anesthesia hygiene, or related areas.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational abilities.
