Legal Director – Corporate & Litigation Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Director to lead all legal matters across the organization. The role combines strategic business partnership with hands‑on management of litigation, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to senior leadership on regulatory, commercial and corporate matters.
• Act as a strategic business partner, supporting organizational objectives beyond pure legal functions.
• Lead corporate governance activities, including board meetings, shareholder matters and statutory filings.
• Manage relationships with government authorities, regulators, external counsel and other stakeholders.
• Oversee all litigation, including civil, labor, tax, regulatory, commercial and consumer disputes.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Collaborate with regional and international legal teams on IP, trademark and compliance issues.
• Develop the legal team, plan succession and improve departmental effectiveness.
• Partner with HR, finance, procurement, marketing and other functions on legal aspects of their activities.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, corporate documents and other legal instruments.
• Manage external legal service providers across all operating jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognized university; a master’s degree or additional qualifications are a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, litigation and regulatory law.
• Significant in‑house counsel experience within multinational or international organizations.
• Strong legal judgment, strategic thinking and excellent interpersonal skills.
