Host/Hostess – Guest Reception Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Host or Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. In this front‑of‑house position you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a professional, friendly and engaging attitude.
• Escort guests to their tables, manage the reservation book and handle telephone enquiries.
• Prepare the outlet before opening in coordination with the service team.
• Arrange seating according to floor plans, including reservations and table blocks.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the entrance and dining area.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit and address any concerns discreetly.
• Stay knowledgeable about menus, promotions and recommend items when asked.
• Assist in updating the outlet’s database and ensure accurate guest records.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality, preferably with experience in a hotel Food & Beverage department.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Polite, sophisticated demeanor with a positive attitude and a pleasant smile.
• Well‑groomed appearance and professional presentation.

Required skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage reservations and telephone calls efficiently.
• Good organizational skills to coordinate seating and outlet setup.
