About the role

The Field Lead Process Engineer (Expat) is responsible for overseeing process engineering activities on site, ensuring that engineering solutions meet operational requirements while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role involves independent evaluation of engineering techniques and the development of innovative approaches to complex problems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute engineering tasks that require judgment and adaptation of standard procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less‑experienced engineers.
• Address conflicting design requirements, material suitability issues, and coordination challenges.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure engineering solutions align with cost‑containment, efficiency, and profitability goals.
• Document engineering decisions and maintain up‑to‑date technical records.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering (any discipline).
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience, with typical experience ranging from 6 to 10 years.
• Proven ability to work independently and make sound engineering judgments.
