Automotive Technician – Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

About the role

The Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. You will diagnose automotive problems, perform repairs, and carry out routine maintenance following manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and repair tasks accurately, adhering to manufacturers’ manuals, checklists and SOPs.
• Identify mechanical issues manually or with computerized diagnostic tools and document all service activities.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment, keep the workshop clean and organized, and ensure vehicles are returned to customers in a tidy condition.
• Communicate with clients about work performed, vehicle condition and any future repair needs.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
• Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems and ability to use diagnostic tools.
• Basic understanding of workshop safety procedures and a valid driving licence (preferred).
