Service Center Manager – Automotive

About the role

Ayass Automotive, an authorized dealer for Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac, is seeking an experienced Service Center Manager to lead its state‑of‑the‑art maintenance workshop in Baghdad. The role combines operational oversight with a strong focus on customer satisfaction in a premium dealership environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily service centre operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high‑quality customer service.
• Supervise service advisors, technicians and front‑desk staff, fostering team development and performance.
• Drive results through KPIs, quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GM service and warranty procedures.
• Coordinate repair schedules, parts availability and service bookings to maximise productivity.
• Address customer concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction ratings.
• Collaborate with showroom and parts departments for cross‑functional success.
• Monitor inventory and maintenance of workshop tools, equipment and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in automotive service management, preferably within a dealership.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic, repair and maintenance processes for GM vehicles.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and service scheduling tools.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, service quality and safety standards.
