Senior MEP Design Associate

About the role

The Senior MEP Design Associate prepares accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates and related documentation for new store openings and remodel projects. The role supports capital‑expenditure planning, cost optimisation and value‑engineering while ensuring compliance with company standards and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs aligned with design requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Produce high‑level and detailed cost estimates based on drawings and design information.
• Perform quantity take‑offs from architectural, civil, interior and MEP drawings.
• Analyse contractor quotations, identify variances and support tender evaluation.
• Identify cost risks, design changes and scope variations, providing impact assessments.
• Maintain costing records, benchmarking data and project documentation.
• Collaborate with design, construction, real‑estate, procurement and project teams.
• Support special projects that require focused costing and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 6–8 years of experience in quantity surveying, MEP estimation or project cost management.
• Experience in retail, F&B or multi‑site construction environments is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
