Sales Officer – Merchant Acquisition

About the role

Tarish is an AI‑powered delivery platform looking for a motivated Sales Officer to expand its merchant network across Baghdad. You will be responsible for onboarding new merchants, activating existing ones, and driving daily order volume on the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential merchants such as restaurants, shops, and other businesses.
• Convert leads into active users on the Tarish platform.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Follow up with merchants to increase their activity and order volume.
• Achieve monthly sales targets.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Represent Tarish professionally in the market.

Required profile

• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Experience in sales or field marketing.
• Ability to work under targets and pressure.
• Good time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Basic understanding of delivery or logistics platforms (preferred).
