About the role
The Sales Manager will lead the company’s B2B and B2G sales efforts in the electrical and lighting projects sector, targeting both private and governmental clients. Reporting to senior management, the role focuses on expanding market penetration, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across Iraq.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted B2B and B2G sales strategies for electrical and lighting projects.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the project sales team, setting KPIs and performance standards.
- Monitor market dynamics, government tenders, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to senior management.
- Identify and qualify potential corporate and governmental clients, large‑scale projects, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers, including government officials, procurement officers, engineering firms, contractors, architects, and consultants.
- Participate in industry events, trade exhibitions, and networking forums to increase brand visibility.
- Oversee preparation and submission of project proposals, tender documents, cost breakdowns, and technical presentations.
- Track project progress, contractual timelines, and budget adherence to ensure successful delivery.
- Analyze sales performance and tender outcomes to develop improvement plans for senior management.
Required profile
- 6‑7 years of experience in a managerial sales role, preferably in the electrical or construction sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to build and maintain strong industry relationships.
