About the role
The Sales Manager will lead the automotive showroom and fleet sales teams in Baghdad, driving performance, customer satisfaction and revenue growth. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on showroom management to ensure the dealership meets its sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies, annual work plans, budgets and forecasts aligned with company objectives.
- Assign sales quotas, monitor workflow, and track results for consultants.
- Review and improve sales processes, proposing new initiatives to boost effectiveness.
- Recruit, train, coach and evaluate sales consultants to build a high‑performing team.
- Oversee showroom operations, ensuring cleanliness, vehicle presentation and timely delivery of cars.
- Handle customer inquiries, recommend suitable vehicles and provide post‑sales support.
- Monitor order and delivery processes for retail, fleet and broker sales, keeping customers informed.
- Prepare periodic sales performance reports and conduct regular team meetings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Auto Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of automotive industry experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of sales planning, forecasting and budgeting.
- Proven leadership and team‑development abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
