About the role
The Sales Director will provide strategic vision for sales development in Iraq, guiding both day‑to‑day tactical issues and long‑term growth. Reporting to senior management, the role requires leading a high‑performing sales and regional management team in a fast‑moving, multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build, lead and develop a motivated sales team capable of meeting or exceeding ambitious targets and profit margins.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Service to shape pricing strategies.
- Define, gain agreement on, and execute sales strategies, plans and budgets aligned with corporate objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and key accounts across the telecommunications sector.
- Train, mentor and develop sub‑ordinates, fostering professional growth and commercial acumen.
Required profile
- 6‑10 years of experience in sales and key‑account management, preferably in telecommunications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a commercial or management discipline.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment and interface across multiple disciplines.
- Strong analytical, strategic and problem‑solving capabilities.
