Retail Store Manager

About the role

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily store activities, from administration and operations to delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role leads the team to drive sales, optimise stock performance and ensure staff are well‑trained and knowledgeable.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and implement the store operational plan aligned with sales objectives.
• Set sales budgets and targets, cascade them to the team and monitor achievement.
• Apply the Apple planogram and manage merchandising, inventory tracking and replenishment.
• Lead daily store operations to maintain the highest standards of customer service and profitability.
• Ensure store appearance, staff presentation and compliance with Apple guidelines; act on audit and mystery‑shopper feedback.
• Manage cash handling policies, register reconciliation and overall cash management.
• Prepare staff schedules, optimise floor coverage and handle vacation planning.
• Address operational issues and customer complaints in coordination with back‑office support.
• Conduct market studies, share best practices with other store managers and produce regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with HR on staffing needs, training plans and talent development, including performance reviews and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant retail management experience.
