Medical Representative – CVRM (Baghdad)

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Medical Representative to drive product awareness and adoption within the Baghdad territory. You will engage healthcare professionals with scientific, ethical, and impactful communication to support improved patient outcomes and achieve business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales managers to develop and implement effective territory sales plans.
• Meet or exceed sales forecasts while managing assigned budgets.
• Apply AstraZeneca’s marketing and medical promotion strategies across assigned regions and products.
• Conduct regular, high‑quality medical visits to promote products and increase awareness among healthcare professionals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of interactions, activities, and doctor profiles using CRM tools (e.g., Veeva).
• Organise and manage promotional meetings (RLM, ROM) and ensure efficient budget use.
• Deliver personalized, scientifically accurate messages aligned with physicians’ needs.
• Monitor competitor activity and local market dynamics to inform promotional strategy.
• Coordinate with internal departments for medical information, pharmacovigilance, and marketing feedback.
• Uphold ethical relationships with healthcare professionals and AstraZeneca’s professional values.
