Medical Representative

About the role

Pioneer Pharma is seeking a full‑time Medical Representative to join its sales team in Erbil. You will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of high‑quality generic and in‑licensed medicines to physicians, pharmacists and medical institutions, building lasting professional relationships and supporting the company’s growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Visit healthcare professionals regularly to present product information and respond to inquiries.
• Plan and execute territory coverage, ensuring optimal market penetration.
• Organise product meetings, educational events and promotional activities as needed.
• Collect market intelligence on competitors, customer needs and therapeutic trends.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and prepare accurate activity and sales reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, regulatory and supply chain to ensure high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Strong medical sales skills, including territory management and sales planning.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Relevant knowledge of medicine and pharmacy, with the ability to explain therapeutic areas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience as a Medical Representative or in pharmaceutical sales is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, organise schedules effectively and handle administrative reporting duties.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital reporting tools.
