About the role
The IT Service Desk Technician provides on‑site and remote hardware and software support to internal users in Iraq. The role requires a multi‑discipline technologist who can work independently and as part of a local and corporate team, handling trouble reports via phone, email and ticketing systems.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, assess and resolve trouble reports for IT equipment and software.
- Deliver deskside support in person and via remote tools.
- Baseline, configure and deploy new equipment to users.
- Create and manage user logon and email accounts.
- Manage network services, server manager, and print queues.
- Log and track tickets using Remedy and other management tools.
- Provide telephone and face‑to‑face customer support, including initial troubleshooting and ticket routing.
- Document work performed for accurate reporting.
- Train personnel on technology solutions and act as a technical resource.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver’s license.
- At least three years of experience as an IT Service Desk Technician.
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- CompTIA Network+ certification.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 or higher.
