Director of Finance – Hotel

About the role

The hotel is seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Director of Finance to provide strategic financial support and expertise to the General Manager and the wider team. You will be responsible for shaping short‑ and long‑term financial plans, ensuring compliance, and driving value across all accounting and financial functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting records and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with company, owner, statutory, and fiscal requirements.
• Maintain internal controls, monitor adherence to policies, and ensure legal, tax, and insurance compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and continuously improve financial accounting and control procedures.
• Advise senior management on financial and commercial matters.
• Lead budgeting, strategic planning, and forecasting cycles to identify value‑creation opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar finance role, preferably within the Middle East hospitality sector.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Detail‑oriented, results‑driven, and capable of influencing outcomes.
