About the role
The Assistant Vice President of Warehouse Operations will lead end‑to‑end B2C warehouse activities in Baghdad, working closely with a third‑party logistics (3PL) partner. This strategic role focuses on operational excellence, inventory accuracy, cost optimisation and delivering a superior customer experience in a high‑growth environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the 3PL warehouse partner and enforce service‑level agreements across inbound, outbound, inventory and returns processes.
- Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, dispatch and returns processing, ensuring adherence to turnaround times and KPIs.
- Maintain best‑in‑class inventory accuracy through robust controls, cycle counting, stock reconciliation and loss mitigation.
- Drive effective use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), monitor inventory synchronization, order flow accuracy and scanning compliance.
- Reduce customer complaints by ensuring correct shipments, proper packaging and alignment with brand standards.
- Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives to improve labor productivity, space utilisation and packaging efficiency.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing large‑scale warehouse operations and leading 3PL partners.
- Track record of building scalable fulfillment processes in fast‑growing organisations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
