Acting CFO – Senior Financial Advisor

About the role

The Acting CFO will serve as a strategic financial partner to the CEO and Board of a large, diversified group operating in construction, engineering and manufacturing. This senior position is responsible for leading the entire finance function, driving transformation, and ensuring robust financial governance across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the CEO and Board on financial strategy, performance and risk.
• Oversee FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax and audit for the whole group.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, process improvements and ERP optimisation.
• Manage group consolidations, inter‑company transactions and cash‑flow optimisation.
• Enhance SAP S/4HANA reporting, analytics and financial architecture.
• Build, develop and succession‑plan the local finance team across subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Arabic speaker (mandatory).
• Proven senior finance leadership experience (CFO or Head of Finance).
• Track record of driving transformation and building high‑performing teams.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing or healthcare environments is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA (FICO, reporting, analytics).
• ERP system expertise.
• Financial consolidation and cash‑flow management.
