About the role
The Finance & Operations Officer will support the implementation of a U.S. State Department funded program that enhances Iraq’s ability to counter unmanned aircraft system threats. Working closely with Q2IMPACT headquarters, in‑country leadership, and local partners, the officer ensures financial, administrative and operational processes run smoothly across Federal Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day financial operations, including budget execution, expense tracking and reconciliation.
- Maintain documentation required for Department of State reporting, audits and monitoring.
- Coordinate program logistics, travel, facilities and local service providers for trainings and stakeholder engagements.
- Support procurement and vendor management in compliance with U.S. Government and Department of State regulations.
- Liaise with Government of Iraq and Kurdistan Regional Government administrative counterparts to enable access and operational support.
Required profile
- Experience in financial management, budgeting and expense reconciliation.
- Familiarity with U.S. Government or Department of State procurement and reporting requirements.
- Ability to work in high‑threat, complex environments and coordinate across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
