Telesales Specialist

About the role

The Telesales Specialist will work on‑site in Baghdad, handling both outbound calls and inbound inquiries to promote a diverse portfolio of products and services offered by the company. The role focuses on presenting offerings clearly, overcoming objections, and guiding prospects through the sales process to achieve or exceed targets.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries across multiple business lines.
• Present product features, answer questions, and handle objections professionally.
• Guide prospects through the sales funnel and close deals to meet sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and follow up on leads.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to support campaigns.
• Provide courteous customer support and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on product information and market trends.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing experience, preferably in customer service, support, or call centre environments.
• Proven telesales, negotiation and closing abilities with a track record of meeting targets.
• Willingness to engage in continuous training to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Prior experience in trading, retail or related sectors is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Baghdad, manage time effectively and thrive under pressure.
• High school diploma required; a diploma or degree in business, marketing or a related field is a plus.
