Technical Sales Engineer – Iraq

About the role

Novargi is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to act as its local representative in Iraq. The role will introduce Novargi’s engineering solutions to oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, consultants and other key stakeholders, driving business development and supporting the full tender‑to‑award process.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Novargi in Iraq and generate new business in the oil, gas, energy and industrial sectors.
• Identify opportunities, develop client relationships and promote Novargi’s EPC/EPCM capabilities.
• Support vendor registration, pre‑qualification and tender preparation activities.
• Monitor market trends, projects and tenders, maintaining an active pipeline.
• Review tender documents, coordinate proposal preparation and assist in techno‑commercial bids.
• Participate in client meetings, commercial negotiations and provide regular market intelligence reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and facilitate smooth hand‑over to project delivery teams after contract award.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Process, Industrial engineering or related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in EPC, EPCM, PMC, oil & gas, energy or related industrial sectors.
• Strong exposure to Middle East and/or North African markets.
• Proven track record in business development, commercial management and tendering.
• Understanding of the EPC project lifecycle from opportunity identification to execution.
• Professional proficiency in English and Arabic.
