Tailor – Hotel Uniform & Guest Clothing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Tailor to join our hotel’s housekeeping team. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality uniform production, alterations and repairs for staff and guests, ensuring a professional appearance throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, create or alter uniforms for new employees.
• Perform basic alterations requested by guests.
• Notify the linen room supervisor when sewing supplies need replenishment.
• Repair and maintain uniforms for all hotel employees.
• Keep detailed daily work records.
• Convert discarded linen into usable items for re‑circulation.
• Organize and inventory all fabric materials.
• Maintain a clean and tidy tailoring area.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by superiors.

Required profile

• Professional tailoring qualification or equivalent training.
• Previous experience in a similar tailoring role, preferably within a hotel.
• Good command of English (advantageous).
• Friendly, caring and dedicated attitude with cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player who enjoys collaborating with a multicultural team and guests.
