System Engineer

About the role

The Systems Engineer delivers end‑to‑end IT solutions, combining presales support with hands‑on implementation. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to design, deploy, and optimise technology environments while ensuring high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical presentations and proof‑of‑concept sessions for prospective customers.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and support sales with proposals, BOMs, and designs.
• Lead full‑cycle deployments: planning, installation, configuration, integration, testing and handover.
• Provide training for end users and IT administrators and produce clear documentation.
• Offer post‑implementation technical support, troubleshoot issues and optimise deployed environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, presales engineer or similar IT role.
• Strong communication skills to present to technical and business audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization and networking.
• ITIL, MCSA, CCNA certifications.
• ITSM best practices, monitoring systems and data‑protection solutions.
• Familiarity with cyber‑security solutions such as XDR, NDR, EDR, SIEM.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
