Software Project Coordinator

About the role

FastPay is seeking a Software Project Coordinator to drive fintech projects from planning through release. The role is based in Erbil and focuses on aligning cross‑functional teams and ensuring timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and execute software projects across the full SDLC (planning, analysis, development, testing, release).
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, PRDs, SRS, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT cases, meeting minutes, risk logs and status reports.
• Manage dependencies, track blockers and keep momentum without micromanagement.
• Facilitate cross‑team communication and align stakeholders without formal authority.

Required profile

• 3+ years of practical experience in software project management or coordination.
• Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude and ability to lead teams.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional growth in project management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern project tools such as Jira, Confluence and Notion.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, CSPO, CAPM, Agile PM) are a plus.
