Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our team and support testing and quality assurance processes for the UMS platform and its related digital services. You will ensure that all system features meet required standards and perform reliably before production release.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans for new and existing system features.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user‑acceptance testing on UMS systems.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue‑tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Validate fixes and verify resolutions of reported issues.
• Produce clear QA reports that highlight findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and Agile development environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Issue‑tracking systems such as Jira or Redmine.
• Automation testing tools like Selenium or Postman.
