Sales Distribution Specialist

About the role

The Sales Distribution Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Baghdad. You will be responsible for growing and managing product distribution channels across assigned territories, ensuring that our brands are well represented at retail and wholesale points of sale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with retailers, wholesalers and key accounts.
• Ensure product availability, visibility and proper merchandising at points of sale.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with logistics, and follow up on orders, deliveries and returns.
• Visit clients daily, present product portfolios and negotiate terms.
• Collect market feedback and prepare regular sales and distribution reports.
• Support promotional activities and train partners’ staff on product knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with internal sales and marketing teams to achieve distribution and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven sales abilities for negotiation, closing deals and expanding distribution networks.
• Training and team‑building capabilities to onboard partners.
• Relevant experience in sales distribution, FMCG, retail or multi‑brand trading environments.
• Excellent organization and time‑management, comfortable with frequent field visits.
• Basic proficiency with sales reporting tools and Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
