Project Manager / Strategy Specialist – Groceries

About the role

Baly, Iraq's leading super app, is expanding its Grocery Dark Stores business. We are seeking a Project Manager / Strategy Specialist to partner with the Groceries Director, driving strategy execution, business planning, and cross‑functional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Groceries Director in shaping and implementing the Grocery Dark Stores strategy.
• Track strategic projects, milestones, dependencies and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and resolve blockers, risks, and delays with stakeholders.
• Prepare meeting minutes, action plans, and maintain project trackers.
• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and analyze business data to uncover opportunities and risks.
• Develop business cases, budgeting, performance reviews and executive presentations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Technology, Product, Marketing, HR, Real Estate and other teams to align priorities.
• Document key decisions and initiatives, and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project management, strategy, business operations, consulting or product management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and execution discipline.
• Excellent follow‑up and stakeholder management skills.
