Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage our organization’s purchasing activities. The successful candidate will work closely with internal leaders to understand material needs, source suitable suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate new suppliers to expand the vendor base.
• Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
• Issue purchase orders and agreements, and monitor their execution.
• Track supplier performance, address issues, and resolve quality concerns.
• Inspect and evaluate purchased items to ensure they meet specifications.
• Analyze industry and demand trends to support sourcing strategy development.
• Collaborate with senior management on the implementation of sourcing initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar purchasing role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred).
• Fluency in English, Arabic and Kurdish.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with business application software for purchasing and resource planning.
