About the role
The Procurement Specialist will support daily purchasing activities, sourcing goods and services, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery while adhering to company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in line with company procedures.
- Obtain, compare, and evaluate quotations from approved vendors to secure best value.
- Follow up on order approvals, vendor confirmations, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including POs, quotations, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Support cost‑saving initiatives by identifying competitive suppliers and monitoring market price changes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
Required skills
- Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, ODOO).
