Procurement Specialist

About the role

Alhasani Home Center is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing, supplier relationships, and import operations for its home‑furnishing business. The role involves coordinating the full procurement cycle, from order execution in Odoo ERP to inventory planning and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute approved purchase orders through the Odoo ERP system, adhering to procurement plans and budgets.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with local and international suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, evaluating performance regularly.
• Coordinate import shipments, container loading, and prepare customs documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyse product demand, stock turnover and replenishment needs.
• Prepare procurement reports and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain, including import operations.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Odoo ERP or other ERP systems.
