About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Senior Manager to lead HR operations for a multinational project environment in Iraq. The role oversees the full employee lifecycle, ensures compliance with Iraqi labor regulations, and supports a multicultural workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Administer employment contracts, maintain personnel records, and manage HRIS and employee databases.
• Prepare monthly HR reports, manpower statistics, and support salary benchmarking and annual compensation reviews.
• Oversee payroll processing, allowances, bonuses, overtime, leave balances, and employee benefits.
• Handle employee inquiries, disciplinary procedures, grievance management, and promote positive employee engagement.
• Coordinate annual performance appraisal processes, probation evaluations, and promotion recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with Iraqi Labor Law, project contractual HR requirements, company policies, and HSE standards.
• Participate in HR policy development, organizational restructuring, and digital HR transformation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master's or HR certifications (SHRM, CIPD, HRCI) are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in oil & gas, EPC, construction or similar multinational projects.
• Experience working in Iraq or the Middle East and managing multicultural teams.
• Strong knowledge of Iraqi Labor Law, international HR best practices, recruitment, compensation, performance management, training, employee relations, and HR compliance.
