About the role
The Lab Technician will perform accurate laboratory testing and analysis, ensuring high quality results and compliance with safety standards. This position supports scientific research and diagnostic activities at NURA Medical Center.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, identify, label, and document biological specimens such as blood, urine, and stool.
- Design and execute laboratory tests according to standard procedures, record observations and interpret findings.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, assist in ordering supplies, and ensure a clean, orderly environment.
- Organize and store chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases following safety instructions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
- International travel required.
- Fluency in Kurdish and English; Arabic is a plus.
Required skills
- Laboratory testing procedures.
- Sample handling and documentation.
- Equipment maintenance and calibration.
